This question is directed to the mods, say i chose Yamikagure later on when its available and selected water as my primary chakra nature hoping to later get ice and be lucky enough to have the legendary shinobi trait. Instead i receive fire as my secondary nature, is it still possible for my char to have that 1/500 chance to use boil release or are these combinations village affiliated only?

No, you need the right second nature to have a chance out of five hundred to get the chakra mix.

What happened to the village hidden by ocean?

Basically there is no Hidden Ocean village. There will be the Ocean Village, which won't be a hidden village but a regular shinobi village with a special ineritable jutsu that will only allow members of this village to enter and exit it. It'll basically be an isolated village safe from intruders.

I'm very very very late on this so I apologize, but if the Ocean Village isn't a hidden village, and is still a shinobi village then what chakra natures can you get from there/ what releases would you have a chance of using? Or can you not start from that village but if you cant start from there how do you learn the jutsu. Once again sorry for being so late, but this just confused me.

It is a shinobi village, but the difference is that there is no kekei genkai there, and there is no set of elements. It is just a village where shinobi live and there is a Kage. At least i think XD

I noticed that the Magnet Release, is Lighting and Wind natures, not trying to nit pick little things but wouldn't magnet be Lighting/Earth...idk just made more sense to me that way, because i think that would be my choice of village, can't remember the big Japanese Word that goes along with it haha

Well in the manga/anime it actually was wind + earth, but i can see how lightning could be fitting for magnet release too. Besides i kinda agree! Since they changed it to lightning it would make much more sense to keep earth, not wind.. oh well, im sure they had some reason for it and we'll just have to trust vreg and the team! :]
