I love how this topic has went from, "i need a rival" to "im gonna make you drown in ur own water -_-"

it cool to have a rival gives u a thing to strive for i dont think u will need to ask for one but u will find one (deep, ik) like the "gay pirate(awesometheory)" said i would like to be ur rival but i got one aswell his name is captain spoon we dont hate but to see whos the best at water style ninjutsu!

Anyways, OT: Ryo, I think you should have one of your friends be your rival in-game or some acquaintance. Picking some random guy is not ideal as you can see in this thread .

well this may be true but if he is your friend they will know each other's weakness' and it would take away the fun of fighting someone new. 
Plus the only reason I said "stop the useless posts" is because the posts have totally gone off topic.
    But I can't tell you when to stop so....

I think I do not insult anyone when I say that this thread has been off topic from the very beginning other than your first reply which was kinda OT. Since it is a Rivals thread in the Shinobi Life Online discussion board I think people should be able to discuss with their in-game rival as long as it doesn't turn into flame wars. People did went ahead talking about their own rivalries but then again this is the Discussion board. But you do make a point when you say that most replies in this thread are irrelevant to the original poster. As for a friend-rival it is not necessary that you know each other's characters abilities as that would take the fun away.
