Shinobi Life Online Sword Combat System

Hi Vreg.

So I was thinking about how the sword combay system would be, if there would be any and I thought about Mount and Blade Warband.Now, what's so sweet about M&B Warband is their combat system, the directional combat, also like Skyrim.
So are you going to do something like that?I don't know but it would be awesome.
If you don't know how the combat is like, search a video or play the game.

I don't think it is too slow but we need to wait to see the combat in the game first.

No, what I mean is that this system is rigid. A sword combat system in Shinobi Life Online should be dynamic. I mean you can't have some sick taijutsu moves and for the sword combat have a guy trying to slash another. It should be combined with taijutsu. Just look at how Sasuke handles his sword and you will understand. And Shinobi Life Online should develop it's own system rather than copy one from a game that bears no resemblance to it whatsoever.

Probably misunderstood what you meant. I thought you meant attacking medieval style like in sky rim. But yea being able to chose the direction of the attack is important.

Exactly, what I mean is that for the sword combat, there should be directional combat, aka being able to chose the direction of the attack.

not sure if this has changed, but in order to sprint you must slide your mouse forward. In a similar fashion for the sword combat, you combine the attack, let's say left click makes you swing the sword, then you move your mouse in the direction of the swing.

Yes, I can already think of a problem with this, but yea.

will u be able to deflect shurken and kunai with a sword, i think it would be nearly impossible since they travel at very high speed but it would be awesome.

There could be a parry button or something like it, from Star Wars video games. You hold down the block/parry button, and it deflects melee and ranged attacks. It would be too op for pvp if it blocked 100% of attacks, so it would probably block melee attacks 70% and ranged 30% or something.
