Regarding Kage's

So Kage's will be players that have achieved high skill in the game & they will be able to have special commands such as ordering around the anbu but...
If a kage is required to take action for some unexpected event such as the police force being helpless in a situation where a village is attacked etc. but he/she isn't online what's going to happen?

Yeaaah... I don't think that's a good idea, I think the kages should be NPC.
But anyway I think if something happens, like you're saying, maybe kages should not have much to do, real Kages might be a tough privilege.
At my point of view Kages should only have to communicate announcements and give small orders as well as fight in wars. That way, it wouldn't be so necessary to be online the whole day.

It is a fact that Kages will be players, and the election for Kage will happen every month. Also, if the whole police force is rendered useless, I don't think there is much that one Kage could do.
Anyway, Kages will probably be the people who play almost all day, are very strong and have a good sense of guidance for their village.

Imagine a much much larger player base when that happens, right now we're only a couple thousand strong. So there really is no telling as to who will and who won't be Kage at this moment.

What will happen when people like kages or other important figure heads cant be online? or lets say the hidden leaf gets attacked by a group of 15 but only 10 hidden leafs members are online? Do you just expect enough people to be playing that situations like this will never occur?

It's the players duty to protect the village, so if they are dedicated they will be on a lot. Same with Kages, they are the most dedicated to the village, therefore they will probably be on a lot.

 Haha come on Cake!!, if something like that would happen they cannot destroy the village anyway, I think so O.o haha,
Also, I remember  I read there will be powerful NPCs protecting the village too. which is good (y)
I've played strategy games, I know how that works, it's not that easy. well.... yeah sometimes >.<

People don't need to be 24/7 online, while somebody is disconnecting another has just connected. I bet NPCs would be an important role at the first steps of Shinobi Life Online

Since this is about Kages....... Are kages going to manage diplomatic staff? like ally villages, enemy villages, Bingo book, chunnin exams,etc?? At my point of view, I think they should not manage missions.

Actually I wonder would it be possible for a kage to handle all the missions of a village? I mean, if a village will have a big number of players there's absolutely no way the kage could know all of them, and even if he/she does it'd be hard to assign a mission to each of those people, they'd most probably assign missions to those who they know and find reliable. Or maybe the missions will be auto assigned by the system?
