Yay! some of these jutsu are absolutely wonderful.

However, cmsurfer made a long post about puppet jutsu.
Would non-element based, specific jutsu like that be possible? and if so, would it also be possible to add more variations of that? Like a series of animal related jutsu?

Jutsu Name: Shape Style: Square Prison
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Jutsu Description: The target is trapped within a Genjutsu that prevents movement.
Jutsu Level: Intermediate
Chakra Nature: N/A
Jutsu Range: Short

If hit, the target is trapped within a Genjutsu prison of squares until they have taken damage. The target can move and cast jutsu as normal, the only thing affected is their vision. The target's point of view would much be like this;

The duration of the jutsu can be increased upon practice. This jutsu also continues to stay in effect until the caster is knocked out/dies.



Jutsu Name: Shape Style: Spherical Confusion
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Jutsu Description: As long as the target is affected by this jutsu, all their jutsu is aimed towards a coloured spherical ball that the caster has placed.
Jutsu Level: Intermediate
Chakra Nature: N/A
Jutsu Range: All
Effects If Hit: A special tag is placed on the target. At any given point, the caster can summon a perfectly spherical ball. This ball acts like a magnet, preventing the target from aiming their jutsu in any other direction. As long as the tag is placed on the target, the target cannot aim anywhere else.


A slow and constant stream of chakra is drained from the caster as long as the ball has been summoned. The caster can summon and recall the ball as they wish.


This jutsu will stay in effect until either the tag is removed or the ball is recalled by the caster. It will also be cancelled if the caster is killed/knocked out. There is no distance limit. (The target cannot just run away)



Jutsu Name: Shape Style: Cylindrical Boundaries
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Jutsu Description: The target is trapped within an invisible barrier, with an invisible cylindrical rod as the center.
Jutsu Level: Beginner - Master
Chakra Nature: N/A
Jutsu Range: Varies (10m to a kilometre)
Effects If Hit: The caster places an invisible rod at a random point in the ground. This creates an invisible barrier spreading out in all directions, with the rod as the centre. All people (except the caster) within the barrier are trapped and must destroy the invisible rod at the centre to escape. The size of the barrier increases with practice. The jutsu drains a constant stream of chakra from the user.


Other than the caster running out of chakra, being knocked out/dying and the destruction of the rod at the centre, there is no other way to break the barrier.



Jutsu Name: Shape Style: Angular Tilt
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Jutsu Description: The target's vision is tilted to a specified angle in either a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction.
Jutsu Level: Intermediate - Master
Chakra Nature: N/A
Jutsu Range: Wide
Effects If Hit: Immediatly after casting, all nearby shinobi that are looking at the caster (friend or foe) will immediately have their view tilted. (This excludes UI interface and the chat.)


The angle of the tilt (which can go up to 180 degrees) can be increased upon practice. As well as the duration of the jutsu.



Jutsu Name: Shape Style: Circle of Limit
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Jutsu Description: The distance of which the target can see is shortened.
Jutsu Level: Expert
Chakra Nature: N/A
Jutsu Range: Varies
Effects If Hit: After being cast, the jutsu comes into effect when next the caster is damaged by the target.


The target cannot see any further than the caster at the point of hitting them. Examples;


  • If the Caster is hit by a Taijutsu user at a distance of 0.5 metres then the Taijutsu user will not be able to see any further than 0.5m.
  • If the Caster is hit by a windbreath and the user is 50metres away (at the point the windbreath makes contact)then the windbreath user will not be able too see any further than 50m.


To everyone not affected, a circle will appear around the target, indicating how far they can see. The only way for the justu to be broken is for another shinobi to enter the circle. Killing/knocking out the caster doesn't stop it.



Jutsu Name: Shape Style: Cube Clone
Jutsu Type: Genjutsu
Jutsu Description: All affected targets will see every shinobi to appear identical to the caster.
Jutsu Level: Intermediate - Master
Chakra Nature: N/A
Jutsu Range: Varies
Effects If Hit: The caster summons a cube. At the point of summoning, all shinobi within the cube will immediately be affected. The affected targets will see every other shinobi to appear exactly like the caster.


The duration of the jutsu can be increased upon practice. The jutsu can also be cancelled by an affected shinobi hitting the real caster.

-Jutsu Level:Expert
-Chakra Nature:Water Release
-Effects if hit: If hit by the wave, it deals high damage, and sends the target in the air, allowing the user to jump and attack the target.

-Name:Water Style:Multiple Sharks Jutsu
-Jutsu Type:Ninjutsu
-Description: The user puts his hand on the surface of a body of water and from the tips of five fingers, chakra is released into the water, changing it into the form of five ferocious sharks. The sharks circle the target with high speed, creating a raging stream that takes away their prey's freedom of movement and their sharp teeth tear into the enemy with each consecutive attack. These sharks can regenerate from surrounding water, making them difficult to destroy.

Jutsu Name: Tri Demonic Wind Scythe
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Jutsu Description: User has to go through hand seals for fifteen seconds before activating this jutsu. Once activated, dark wind starts to gather around the user, before the user shapes the winds into a scythe with three blades (looks similar to Hidan's scythe). At close range, the user is able to use the scythe as a normal melee weapon; at low range, the user can slash through the air and cause wind blades to attack the opponent (range increases with more use and mastery, as well as damage); and medium range can send shockwaves out from around the user, much like the Almighty Push, but this is only available at master level mastery of this jutsu. Jutsu lasts for 45 seconds before fading away and making the user unable to cast any Ninjutsu or Taijutsu for the following minute and a half. Also, the user constantly loses some of their health while using this jutsu.

Effects if hit: The close range weapon is very sharp and can shave away at health relatively easily, even having a chance of poisoning the enemy; however, the health being drained from the user doubles when used in melee. Medium range shock wave can stun the opponent up to five seconds when closest to the player, and up to two seconds when at the farthest possible zone for the technique; also, has a small knockback.

This hallucination will last 10 seconds and during the hallucination the poison effect of Scorpions barb will reset. Cannot be used after Paralyzing Venom.

So, wanting to contribute I decided before I was going to post some ideas I would look through what other people have said to avoid a repost. I just read every single post on this thread. Anyhow, I used to Co-Own another Naruto based community, so I suppose I feel obligated to put in my two cents. I'll try to keep them as fresh and original as possible. I have a tendency to get carried away with these kinds of things, so apologies in advance.

Water Style Jutsu

Jutsu Name: Water Torrent
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu
Jutsu Description: User pushes forth a fair sized wave of water to knockback enemies, or to ride forward
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Medium
Effects If Hit: Pushes back enemies hit, speeds you up

Jutsu Name: Water Pillar
Jutsu Description: Materializes a stream of water at the enemies feet and blasts upward
Jutsu Level: Intermediate

Jutsu Name: Water Missile
Jutsu Description: Fires a concussive blast of water in straight line, that breaks and spreads into smaller water bullets after a duration.

Effects If Hit: Quick jolt of burn damage

Jutsu Name: Viral Combustion
Jutsu Description: Attack an enemy with direct contact. After a small delay, the enemy bursts into flames along with other enemies in the proximity.

Effects If Hit: Medium Burn Damage

Jutsu Name: Flame Turbine
Jutsu Description: Throws a spinning horizontal disk of fire, burning hottest closer to the center

Jutsu Description: Use an unstable bolt of lightning to stab your foe
Jutsu Level: Expert
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Slight paralysis, Heavy Shock Damage

Jutsu Name: Lightning Rush
Jutsu Description: Dash forward, leaving the ground behind you electrically charged
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Short-Medium
Effects If Hit: If walked over charged area, light shock damage and short handicap to movement speed

Jutsu Name: Electric Wire
Jutsu Description: Throw two Kunai/Shuriken in a cone, with a steady current of electricity flowing between them
Jutsu Level: Intermediate
Jutsu Range: Medium
Effects If Hit: Standard Thrust damage if hit by the ninja tool, Shock damage if caught by the current. Less damage the further the tools drift apart.
(Requires Kunai or Shuriken x2)

Wind Style Jutsu
----------

Jutsu Name: Wind Turbulence
Jutsu Description: Creates and area of winds that slightly impede movement speed and shift enemy positions frequently
Jutsu Level: Beginner/Novice
Jutsu Range: Short
Effects If Hit: Slows enemy slightly, shifting them around and thus increasing aim difficulty

Jutsu Name: Repulse
Jutsu Description: Emit a blast of air in your close proximity, pushing back all enemies in your immediate vicinity
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Light Damage, Knocked back

Jutsu Name: Gust Ball
Jutsu Description: Create a slow moving ball of circular wind, acting as a mini tornado picking up debris and flinging it in different directions
Jutsu Level: Expert
Jutsu Range: Medium
Effects If Hit: If hit by the ball, thrown in random direction. Moderate blunt damage from Debris

Non-Elemental Jutsu
----------

Jutsu Name: Substitution Technique
Jutsu Description: (Already a thing obviously, but here's how I think it would work) Activate before getting hit, and have a small window afterward to have the substitute take the damage in your place. (I.E Activate in Position 1, move and get hurt in the time window, return to position 1 with item in your previous position)
Jutsu Level: Beginner-Master
Jutsu Range: N/A
Effects If Hit: Object displacement

Jutsu Name: Hidden Snare Technique
Jutsu Description: Create a hidden net trap to catch your foe off guard
Jutsu Level: Beginner
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Heavy impairment of agility

Jutsu Name: Body Flicker Technique
Jutsu Description: (again, not original, but same deal as substitution) Move very quickly, almost giving the illusion of teleportation. (Use to move a few steps in a certain direction at untraceable speed, hold down for longer distances at exponentially greater chakra costs)
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Short-Long

Taijutsu
----------

Jutsu Name: Tiger Stance
Jutsu Description: Strike quicker and with slightly increased force, but leave yourself vulnerable to attack
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Increased Melee speed and damage, lower defense

Jutsu Name: Disarm
Jutsu Description: Disarm your opponent during their weapon swing (Needs to be timed effectively)
Jutsu Level: Intermediate
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Weapon removed (On the ground, most likely un-collectible by anyone else but he who was disarmed)

Jutsu Name: Snap Kick
Jutsu Description: Bring your knee forward, blocking kicks from the side. Extend your leg quickly and knock the enemy backward
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Moderate damage & knockback

Kenjutsu
----------

Jutsu Name: Parry
Jutsu Description: Deflect your enemies attack mid swing leaving them open for counter attack
Jutsu Level: Novice-Intermediate
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Dazes opponent, making them unable to attack very briefly

Jutsu Name: Iaito-Jutsu
Jutsu Description: Place your sword in its scabbard, quickly stepping forward and drawing it in a horizontal slash
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Short
Effects If Hit: Slashing damage, Bleed Chance

Jutsu Name: Bandit's Strike
Jutsu Description: Drag your blade along the ground, and grind it forward into an upward slash; Picking up dirt and blinding your enemy in the process
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Moderate Damage, Short Vision Blur

Genjutsu
----------

Jutsu Name: Change of Season
Jutsu Description: Impair your enemies vision with a heavy rain of natural objects (I.E Leaves in the forest, snowstorm in cold areas, Sand storm in desert areas)
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Short
Effects If Hit: Impaired vision

Jutsu Name: Fabrication Jutsu
Jutsu Description: Appears to the enemy that they have been injured severely and are gripping to life
Jutsu Level: Intermediate
Jutsu Range: Short
Effects If Hit: Appears to drain health bar considerably, intending to force a surrender or retreat

Jutsu Name: Hidden Blade
Jutsu Description: Very shortly camouflages your weapon from the enemy, appearing to them that you are not holding anything.
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Medium
Effects If Hit: Hides your weapon from the enemy for a short period

Sensory Jutsu

Jutsu Name: Huntsmans Eye
Jutsu Description: See clearly recent footprints in an area around you
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Short

Jutsu Name: Pulse Sweep
Jutsu Description: Detect Chakra Signatures in a 200m radius, and their distance from you
Jutsu Level: Intermediate
Jutsu Range: Medium

Jutsu Name: Living Compass
Jutsu Description: Locate the direction and speed of the closest shinobi
Jutsu Level: Novice
Jutsu Range: Medium

Medical Ninjutsu
----------

Jutsu Name: Mind over Maim
Jutsu Description: Heal a crippled or Paralyzed limb to full health (Cannot be self used)
Jutsu Level: Intermediate
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Repair and restoration of limb use

Jutsu Name: Quick Stitch
Jutsu Description: Perform emergency measures to have a percentage of damage over time removed
Jutsu Level: Novice-Master
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Percentage of damage over time taken away (I.E 50% reduced bleeding damage/Poison Damage etc.)

Jutsu Name: Juggernaught's Aura
Jutsu Description: Mend the bones of an ally and allow them to slowly regenerate health for a duration
Jutsu Level: Intermediate-Expert
Jutsu Range: Melee
Effects If Hit: Subtle health regeneration
