Genjutsu?

are the mechanics of genjutsu already decided? like how its gonna work and all? otherwise i think i have a neat suggestion i'll post depending on the answer.

As far as I know only the effects are desided. Genjutsu will do no damage, and be mostly movement control and visual and auditory  effects.
Also I believe there was talk of the abuility to release genjutsu but I think that is still being discussed.

I think genjutsu will activate a canvas with an animation in the character camera or something like that

As someone who wants to focus half of my effort on Genjutsu, I hope they make it effective enough of a style to rival Ninjutsu, ect...

So long as it's subtle, it'll be a fairly hard counter to *some* forms of Ninjutsu; Of course, it's greatest level of efficacy will ultimately when used in conjunction with stealth and ambushes -- again, subtlety.
