tbh why not just have people write who they think the top 10 players are because every member who knows their shit would write around the same for the first 5 players.
Having people write the top 3 players wouldn't give an accurate top 10 list.
I'd say have people write their top 10 players and assign a certain amount of points to each position from a vote.

E.g someone who got somebody's first place vote would get 10 points
second vote would get 9 points etc
