Clan name: Kakusahe Clan
(taken from Kakusareta hebi meaning hidden snake and shortened to a name)
Clan logo:( still working on it, sorry i'm more of a writer than an artist)
Founder: Founders include three families: Most notably the Mizuhebi(usually around the Hidden Forest village), and Kakusafuhe(usually around the Hidden Hill village) family, and lastly the Nijihebi Family(usually around the Hidden Haze village).
Leader: Shigenaga Kakusafuhe
Affiliation: Although the entire clan is not technically part of any village, members of the Kakusahe Clan can commonly be found living in Hidden Hill and Hidden Dust villages. Some rare members come from the Hidden Haze village, but are generally shunned by the other members of the clan.
Clan history: The Clan has been around for several generations. Originally dwelling on windy cliffs near the ocean, the founding families heard the call of the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky and travelled inland to establish a temple in his honor. Annually there is a great sacrifice of corn and mice brought to the Central temple outside the Hidden Forest village. During this time the High Priest is chosen, and the old High Priest is sacrificed to the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky. This is to pass down the generational story of the sacrifice originally given by the three main families to appease the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky's wrath, and ensure his blessing.
Bad blood was created early on in the clan's formation due to the treachery of the Nijihebi family. During the early days of the clan, (before the high priest was elected and sacrificed annually but instead held the position till natural death), the third High Priest elected was Kazuta Nijihebi. At the great Annual sacrifice to the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky The Nijihebi family betrayed the other two families, stealing the offerings for 6 years before she was noticed. The other families only noticed because the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky descended and demanded to know why he had not received his sacrifice the previous six years in recompense for teaching them the way of the Kakusahe and their Susatsudoku recipe. He begun a plaque which started killing the members of the clan until the leaders of the other two families killed Kazuta Nijihebi. The Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky abated his wrath and returned to the heavens. As a result of this treachery the Nijihebi family was cast out of the main clan (although they still retain it's secrets) and were KOS for many years. Now members of the other two families and their descendants call the Nijihebi clan the Ketsuhebi family(meaning Blood Snake) because of the many people killed by their treachery.
Unique traits: Members of the Kakusahe Clan tend to have water and wind natures. By utilizing secret potions passed down in their clan for generations they can add devastating poisons to their attacks, resulting in debilitating status effects guaranteed to keep you in Tsunade's care for months if you survive at all. Members of the Kakusahe Clan hold the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky in great reverence, and will generally dislike people who doubt his existence, or curse it. Members frequently mention their appreciation towards the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky in conversation with other ninjas. There is little in common with their natural appearance. However the families do have their unique marks with which they tattoo their bodies. (still working on the designs!)
Strengths: Members of the Kakusahe Clan are talented with Stealth and Poison abilities, giving them the edge they need to strike from cover and end their opponents.
Weaknesses: Although they are great at hidden attacks or assassinations, they have little ability to wage protracted warfare due to the lack of a robust logistical system. They are great at quick attacks, but they have less chakra than the average shinobi and so can't take sustained combat unless they resort to guerilla tactics.
Rival clans: The Kakusahe Clan is fairly chill with the other clans as long as they respect the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky, and do not threaten the villages they reside in and around.(I may add some stuff later on after I finish reading all your clan's descriptions) There is some rivalry within the clan though, since the Mizuhebi and the Kakusafuhe families view the members of the
Allied clans: Same as above, I need to look into the other clans more before writing stuff down.
Rankings: The Hierarchy in the clan begins with the High Priest, secondly the Heads of the Main families, and so on it breaks down into the families related to the main families.
Members: Yukaze Kakumihe - a descendent of the Mizuhebi family, Yukaze is currently a genin in training who makes his residence in the Hidden Hill village.
Rules: Rule 1: do not disrespect the Great Serpent Hidden in the Sky. The method of punishment varies depending on the family and severity of the disrespect but usually lies on the head of whatever sub family you happen to be a member of.
Rule 2: for the two main families, do not respect members of the Ketsuhebi family. Feel free to persecute them as much as you like.
Rule 3: for the Nijihebi family (and descended families) give no quarter to the two main families and take every opportunity to insult them.
Rule 4: During the Annual Sacrifice all members go to the temple in the hidden Forest village and offer up their offerings of mice and corn, as well as the High Priest at that time. During this time the families do not openly insult or harm each other, except extremely politely.
Rule 5: the High Priest Definitely dies every year... he most certainly is not secretly kept alive by a forbidden jutsu that causes paralysis indistinguishable from death...
Rule 6: Do not tell anybody outside the clan about the Hiretsuhebi technique. Punishment is not severe, but we will all be seriously disappointed in you and may consider electing you to high priest next year.
