Character Inspirations

There are some interesting characters on SLO so my question is what inspirations did you all use when creating your characters, whether for personalities, appearance or history. Share what your muses were when you created!

For me, my current character is an adaptation of Mugen from Samurai Champloo. Similar personalities, fighting styles and I'll probably base my character's new appearance on him or Hidan. Gave him a unique history that relates more to the SLO world though.

The second character image was a samurai panda and its a image a found and it was awesome I edit a few things of it to makd the way I want it and even added a background and I had it because samurais are awesome(also ninjas) and because one of my favorite animals is a panda, but the current image is of 2D of the virtual band called gorillaz that Im listening for a few weeks and favorite band member is 2D soo yeah there you go.

Ayyyeeee mine was my own impersonation of myself if I was a shinobi >.>
The appearance is basically as close to me as possible + white hair, while the personality is the exact same. Fighting style is just what I would prefer tbh, not necessarily good offensively or defensively but unbeatable when it comes to annoying people. Hence the Genjutsu and Earth Style ninjutsu which I'll only use defensively.

Well my character is based upon my own life (kind of).... from the day I was born, I have traveled from one city to another in every two or three years plus vacation trips and all. Similarly, my character has been portrayed as a part of a nomadic clan (a tribe you can say) wandering from one place to another.
The look is inspired mostly from Kakashi and my own self, Although the mask is not permanent, that is, its just worn when my character will be active in missions, battles,etc.
I'm still weak in using ninjutsu in-game hence is my charecter... so he is basically in learning stage now.

My inspiration was always Rakage, his taijutsu was super awesome even against Madara with Onoki's weighted boulder, but my favourite characters were always Reisi Munakata and Mikoto Suoh from K so when I joined SLO I wanted to blend all 3 characters into one but still add my own creativity and personality into the mix plus my adoration for the lightning affinity hence in the end Yamanagi was born. ^.^

Aye, my name being inspired from the anime Katekyo Hitman Reborn, I were going with the character my name was inspired from - Tsunayoshi Sawada. So I mostly impersonate him.  ImG: http://i.imgur.com/m1GaID5.png

But right now I'm impersonating someone named Zapp, from another anime called Kekkai Sensen, he's a badass.

My character was inspired by Kimimaro. He's genuinely an amazing guy and should have whooped Lee and Gaara's asses if it wasn't for his illness.

Agreed, Kimimaro was also one of my favourites too. Don't think I've read your character page...I'll check it out.

Well you see, my character Hikaru Kirishima is a re-creation of a character I had on a previous Naruto project  named Hikaru Uchiha. More or less inspired by Shisui and Kakashi ^.^

No doubt I had some character here, and for the first time I had characters inspired by Kiba mainly. However, later I've changed it and picked something new. I'd rather write about the current one, because the previous ones are not so remarkable.
This one was inspired by maffia movies mostly (especially The Godfather), and the system of underworld. Just picked some cliché like rough past, lost family, rough years in prison. Many of the criminal leaders in movies had similar past, so yeah, it is another one The story itself wasn't that important for me, that is why I created it that way. I'd rather let the game form this character.
