AS i read  before if someone choose to kill you then you loose the character even if that is the most realistic think and hardcore i ve seing in a game i believe it could bring problem between members in the game also rage quits etc expect if training is extremly easy... but still the death loot etc is fucking awesome.   So here is my idea on how that think can be resolved.

Hospital safe zone: Inside hospitals will be safe zone but for enter hospital you have or defeated or be full hp and not used any jutsus or attack actions for at least 10 secconds so thinks like i am runing into hosp in a midle of fight will not exist however i am going out for 5 minutes and back will be posible without log off just go to hospital also spam kills after any way will not be posible...
So how hospital is going help if someone select to kill you you will move to hospital same even if doesnt finish you etc but now you will be unable remove hospital for 1 hour at least (the timer may change for balance or other reasons)  also when you are dead you will be unable use chat trade or do any other actions but still will be one think left that may be able to do... as we have seing right now the game work like team death match so team deathmatch will remain for both characters use their skills and try do better combos etc but also dead characters will be able join team death match so they will keep playing their characters....

Lifes variant: one that may used with the previews idea, is final death all characters will have 5 lifes at start and when someone finish them will be same as before (hospital for some time and unable do any action expect team deathmatch etc ) but now you will loose one life also upon reachin 0 lifes your character meet final death and as consiquence wipe however in game will still exist many way for buy lifes with money from missions, trade etc or maybe donations will be accepted for buying lifes.

and my last idea is that : expect Clan  organizations, village etc something for a little even more customazation for your character named : Special powers
Unlike other thinks that can be selected or get it at start of game special powers will require some special quests, exploration , read some scrolls , read some tablets in ancent place etc and at last some stat requirements... however all characters will be able have just 2 special powers , and as consiquence you will have 2 SPP (special power points) at start of game (maybe 1 and you will get the other after chuunin exams or meeting some requirements). Characters with combined element natures that are enough luck to get it will start with -1 SPP as long combined natures will be consider as special powers, however as already is if you dont born with combined element nature then you will be unalbe get it even if you have SPP's left.
Ideas for Special powers is sage mode (toad), Sage mode ( snake) Sage mode ( slug) sage mode (monkey), sage mode (Dragon) and Demonic possetion and many thinks can be added as long the game is based on naruto universe  but still a lot of difference.
Journal: journal it would be good to added journal will mostly be what you have seing read and do in game mostly for explore etc based on some infos on journal you will maybe be able enter in different place in game or read some other or even get quests and missions cause you have some knowledge about the topic etc also for special powers journal will be awesome.
  Hope you like my ideas and be able understand my bad gramar i would realy like to see some discusion for my ideas thanks a lot :)

something i forgot about create your own jutsus as i read in faq not plan well i know that idea  but maybe some jutsus maybe created in forum by suggestions or after a character sends some apply to the admins on what he want to do and how he try it but still it can be bad for balancing reasons but good for more realistic reasons :)

Ok so on the safe zone thing- everywhere is a safe zone. Except were it is designated as kill zone- that is most likely going to be contested area  between villages. So if you get "killed any were but a kill zone you'll wake up in the hospital. If you just want to RP in a village them don't go to the kill zone areas. It's that simple

This makes the life variant as you call it moot

As for the last idea I suggest you look into what's planed alittle more for clan Jutsu and forbidden Jutsu, if you go to the village dis rupture page it spells out your chances of Geting a combined nature- basically a Kekkei genki, for the porpoises of this game.. I home this helps

Well as I under stand it-the police force will be automated and participate ran meaning that if a player doesn't stop it the NPC will. So it's basically like - if your in the safe zones there's always a cop around when you need it.  Amgen kakashi swooping in and throwing both ninja in to water towers at the last sec. Lol  anyway yes the combine natures will be the special powers and there my be some other special Jutsu you can train to learn.

But most of the balancing should be done not in Jutsu but in player stats in my opinion, but that's just me.

i absoludly agree the part with the player stats :P but we have to wait and see ;)

So starting on the hospital refreshing your health, if we were to have a hospital that did that, I'd assume it'd be npc medical ninjas healing you over time, rather than an instant refresh zone.

Also you are correct in believing that safe zones aren't really safe. However, in the real world there are no safe zones. You can be defeated inside of a safe zone but your life will be spared indefinitely. This, along with village police npc's discourage fighting inside of the village walls enough for it to be relatively safer than outside.

The lives variant is an interesting concept, and does help more casual players get into it, but at the same time it also takes away from the kind of experience that is trying to be created. Permadeath is the ultimate consequence for your own failure. You learn to be cautious because you know that your failure will be punished by death. Anyone can be brave when they have respawns. Say you're going in between villages and a well known rogue ninja ambushes you. If you have lives, automatically your confidence is increased. You know that no matter what happens here, you will be safe in the end. Of course you'll be careful to keep as many lives as possible, but with one life the fear sets in. The animal instincts of Kill or be Killed really start to set in. With one life, people won't be reckless running around outside of villages dicking around, because those people will die quickly.

The special powers idea isn't too bad, however it gives everyone the chance to be a sage or have some crazy special ability, which will probably only be given to very few. I do believe you will be able to learn new and hidden jutsus through scrolls and training however.

I do like the journal idea. I would hope something similar be implemented, with the ability to add your own pages in as well.

the think you say at hospital that you will be healed over time even better as i say about lives and perma death isnt because that is more realistic or hardcore you can see that i say excacly its the most realistic and hardcore think i ve ever seing however the reason is because if you play a character for 6 month for example training hard playing hard and in one bad moment you loose him thats not very good... and probably that would be the end for you , in the other hand if its game that you can be maximized in 15-20 days then that would be nothing to worry about your character and simple you will not trully try for your character... life variant has 2 goods when i ve select to add it 1st think is keep the hardcore and realistic not as much but still keep it 2ond economy as yo uhave seing in most mmo until now because soon enough the trades start to become part only between charcters the prices of all items all time goes up and up but if something so important exist like lifes because if you reach 0 lives you loosing your character then believe me everyone will try buy lifes etc so the prices will balanced in some way....


About special powers i say that it can be many thinks from sage mode to everything you can immagine because as we read its based on naruto universe not naruto itself in the other hand yes everyone haveing sage mode isnt something bad also as i say you have to explore found something do some special quests some research to at least take the last quest taht will give you that special power

Hmmm Vreg has already decided what it is and to be honest, it comes down to a matter of opinion.

You may prefer the game to not be so hardcore whereas I personally, love the perma-death system.

PLease bear in mind that it will be far harder to kill someone in the final release than it is now.
