Game, nor all the members, are ready for such a thing. RP shouldn't be taken so lightly as "Hey! Let's all do some RP!" it doesn't work like that.. Not in this case anyway; RPing a war.

You gotta understand that not every member of Bitoku, or Kata, really have a grasp of RP and take some things to heart. Also, the members that THINK they can RP, but can't, take some RP stuff OOC and carry the emotions of their character into the real world which is signs of a bad time and the risk of friendships being ruined.

Take you and Kono's little RP in the discussion board as an example. You took some of his RP to heart and carried it out as hate OOC. You even took a time out to say something along the lines of "You're RPing your character wrong, you're not being like Pride at all." for one, Pride is whatever Kono wants him to be, it is his character and two, you can't call someone out on their character in RP, it's stupidly wrong because it's not your character so you don't get to choose how he comes across.

As for in-game side of things, the game just isn't at the state where it'd be an in-depth RP. If an RP can't go in-depth when starting, it won't make sense later on. Peoples natures will switch from 3 kinds to 2 at most. Peoples looks will drastically switch from looking the same and so on. Just because you can fight using 3 jutsu, doesn't mean RPing a war RPE is a good idea.

In my opinion this sort of story-line should only go RP when we have the following:
- 5 natures to choose from with at least 3 jutsu per nature.
- Half the villages in place or at least something that resembles half the villages.
- Every member active and having knowledge on how to RP with the difference between IC and OOC.
- Everyone in agreement to the RP you have planned, in this case a war.

A one sided RP war is just bad, so getting the community to vote on this is also bad as they're not the ones you should be getting the votes of, it should be the people you are asking to RP war with.

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted my opinion of why I voted No to be clear and I hope no ones feelings got hurt in the process.

It is actually a concern for Kono considering you're asking him to partake in an RPE. Don't say his opinion doesn't count like that.

There was RP before, but someone didn't know when RP was being done EVEN WHEN IT WAS STATED, and took the words out of character and started feeling angry.

IMHO, RP should only be done when all the people involved know how to take RP, be it insults, or praise.

Nothing we can RP about yet, it's just that you are our counterparts, that will get boring if we do it before the game is in a state good enough to roleplay AND show with actions.

But all in all, I have nothing more to say than what has already been said.
