War - Prisoners and Execution.

Right now, Shinobi Wars is not only about Death.
Yeah sure, it happens a lot, but it's not like that all times, so i think you can get Prisoners of War(POW), and they would have a great impact for peace treaties, so that gives a more reasoning to not kill a person while in the war unless it's necessary.

You can execute POW, at same time while you can trade them to get a faster peace, you can execute one, then a hundred and go on, the Kage would think. "Ok, people are dying, i need to get that peace fast or rescue them".

That's just a idea i had while reading other topics...

well the game will be semi perma-death so a way to refrain from making someone rage and stop playing the game and to weaken the other village or enemy would be the best option from a game and battle standpoint

Even if it's Semi-Perma Death, this is Useful, cause it will weaken the enemy forces, and make them valuable to rescue.

There could even be a reward for your village if you capture a opponent while there in there safe zone deep in your opponent's territory. kind of a capture the flag if you get 3 of them you get one of the villages hidden ninjutsu- as intel from the prisoners.
this ninjutsu then can be learned by anyone in the village. Taking prisoners should be a major goal in a war. however to protect your villages jutsu your kaga could surrender the war and sing a treaty to protect the jutsu. JUST AN IDEA

You should only be able to get hidden jutsu from shinobi who actually know them or by infiltrating the village and finding where their scrolls are hidden. (I'm presuming there will be scrolls)

A village losing their hidden jutsu because any three randoms were captured is unrealistic and unfair.

Btw, keep in mind that SLO will lean towards the realistic side. War will be like that too. Keep this in mind when making suggestions. For example this thread's suggestion will probably make it to the game without this.

I didn't said that they would lose their hidden jutsu because of that, just a way to say, right now if you get POW, you are going to need a Prison for them, you can do a breakout or the Kage do a rescue mission, because they will recover lost forces, but the enemy can execute then at any moment.
It's just a way so the community will right now give ideas about it, even if you are planning it already, the community can say something you don't, well, that's what i think.

Sorry I was not clear it would not be random I was suggesting that the 3 shinboi that know it would be targeted... This would require gathering Intelligence on how knows them... You need to get three because no one shinboi would give you all of it.  On top of that only shinboi specialized in information extraction can pull the info from the captured Shinobi minds. Once this happened it is sealed in a scroll for your village.
