Standerd resengan has no chakra nature. If it was wind kakashi without wind style wouldn't able to do an A rank wind style jutsu.

Kakashi has a repertoire of over 1000 jutsu, alot of which are high ranking jutsu. He, though a lightning stylist, was proficient in all forms of ninjutsu. Assuming he wouldn't be able to rasengan because of it's nature is foolish.

Naruto's wind release: rasengan and rasenshuriken are changes in chakra nature and form using the wind nature. I love Kakashi but even with his proficiency in multiple natures including wind, like he explained, such a complex technique is difficult when not using your own nature affinity and he failed at implementing it with his lightning affinity, I doubt he'll get it right with the wind nature.

Kakashi could not mix his lightning style because it is not possible spin lightning nature at the intensity the rasengan requires...
Let me explain
Remember it's not just rotation but also the POWER of the chakra to form the rasangon

With lightning nature it's natural form is  linear
Point A to point B it can be bent and curved but
The power of the lightning needs to be weekend to achieve this effect. Or another nature must be added like the Laser Circus jutsu.
This is why you never see naruto use a lightning style in tailed beast mode.
It's not compatible with the change in form.

And because kakashi dose not have the skill with shadow clones that naruto has he could not use his techniques for applying wind or any other nature to the rasangon.

Either ways, my point still remains that he could not do it with lightning and I also doubt whether can with wind because its not his affinity. The jutsus are difficult because they require both precision and power/chakra something that is ideal for naruto who also has the added advantage of fuuton as his primary nature. Maybe if Kakashi had a bit more chakra and the wind primary chakra nature, who knows?
