In this case you would have to stare at your enemy, study his movement and then do like a monkey.

Or require before hand preparation. But regardless against a strong genjutsu user it's better to retreat. if its one on one.

Can't blame a brother for advertising, but I apologize if that's how I make people feel I'll try to minimize it and allow people to enjoy their decisions, then make them suffer in-game, but I understand.

Lol really this trying to block your five senses thing is impractical. You just have to be smart and be aware of your enemy or surroundings.
There are measures you can take for things like this.
Par example : Staying a good distance away.
Try to not to make eye contact . Etc.

Like there's limits to genjustu too.

remember that time when Naruto fought Itachi? He avoided eye contact, but he was still affected by the genjutsu due to looking at Itachi's finger. Thus what you're saying is also impractical and imo genjutsu will just be awkwardly hard to balance

 Genjutsu are a thing that affects your senses. There are so many ways of casting its hard to avoid being caught, so the defeat of a genjutsu comes from what you do while under its influence, not by escaping altogether, tho if you know how to release you can try it. perhaps a minigame tho it would have to be kind of fast so you dont get killed trying to get out....tho that is a danger of genjutsu

Balancing genjutsu will have to be on the level and effect of the genjutsu bassess.
If the genjutsu immobilizes the target all together a low level release
should be all it takes to release it. If it effects targeting or other effects like
confusing how much chakra or stamina the opponent has, visual effects, dizzy or
other subtle effects these could be harder to dispel sense you can still dauge and
move. however you still need to to train the ability to release the genjutsu.
And i think a certain level of intelligence is necessary to train different levels of
release.

You think this is a joke but being a journalist for SLO where you get to publish your own newspaper and share news from your point of view sounds like a pretty awesome profession to have if you're not into the fighting related aspects of the game.

If you become a certified newspaper publisher you could have your weekly (or monthly) news pop up when users log into the game. They will also have the option to turn off notifications for X amount of time if needs be.
