In his head, he was much too composed as a diplomat for that. Really he just kinda went white and quiet and shivering.
Next to him, Sanjivan (having graciously accompanied Chikaze to this cold hell for the benefit of the Volcano), scratched the back of his neck and warily asked,
"Did he say anything else before he left? Maybe where he was going?"
