How to share my ideas for SLO without getting robbed.

Hello, I am Ven aka TheTexasPanther.

I have been a phantom in the forums for a while and I am now ready to make contact with the physical world.

So here's my problem. I have wanted a Naruto MMO for a while, and I have a journal filled with detailed ideas for a Naruto MMO. I only recently found out about SLO and I would like to pour my ideas into it since it is a game driven by the community.

However, I am a bit uncomfortable sharing these ideas in a public forum because I worry about people who may want to clone SLO one day.

Should I be afraid of someone stealing ideas and taking credit for them? Or is that just a silly notion?

Pretty much a silly notion. Just let your imagination run wild, no one will steal your ideas. Post anything idea you have.

This keeps happening to me tbh, and its always sad seeing someone else get an idea out before you have the chance to release it. If you've got anything, and you really want to share it with the staff, but are having some slight paranoia issues about others possibly copying them from the forums, you could always just PM it directly to them.

The ones capable of stealing your ideas and turning it into an actual game won't actually do that, so just post your ideas in separate and nicely organized topics and see what the community and myself think of them.
