Chakra Consuming Weapons/Items

I think there should be certain weapons with special abilities. These weapons would take your chakra away the more you weild it. The better the weapon, the more chakra it takes. These weapons could also have the effect that if all of your chakra is depleted via holding the weapon and you are still holding the weapon, you will die. This weapon would be OP as shit ofc. For example of these so called weapons:

This is just chakra manipulation. Like the way that Asuka uses his chakra to strengthen his blades. It's not the actual weapon doing it. Asuka pours his chakra into the blade and manipulates the shape of the chakra to give the blade more strength

Actually, the weapon does the work. As you can see, Ten-ten cannot do elemental transformation but she was able to release fire and wind when she wielded the weapon. So it's the weapon.

What you guys are talking about are two different things. Steven is referring to strengthening weapons with chakra (as Asuma strengthened his blades by using wind chakra) which is true. He didn't understand that Straw was referring to weapons that actually have specific purposes which consume chakra, much like Kisame's sword or any of the Sage's tools.

Having weapons that consume chakra when holding them is already planned. A simple example is a chakra enhanced kunai.

I like the idea of chakra-enhanced weapons. That way you could have a lot of pure weapon-users like Ten Ten, and it'd add another style of play to the game.
