@Kayleb Yeah, just going to stop you at, "...having to pay to join a village..."

I'd really like you to consider the dangers of this idea. You'd be blocking off a village to certain players completely, which in my mind is completely asinine as you want players to join the different villages and balance out the power and populations between them. Plus, it just seems a bit cheap to restrict something as simple as a player's association to a respective village/people just so you can make a few extra bucks (EA/WoW maneuver right there).

No serious disrespect to you, just the idea you gave. Then again, I'm not entirely sure if this is what the devs might want to do in the future, no one knows for sure.

I just realized that leaving one percent of the active player population open helps to support the friend invite system, as that one percent can be--for the most part--used by them. Of course, if this doesn't prove to be enough, you could always increase the amount left open to 10-20%, and it wouldn't really end up hurting the former systems all that much; You'd just have to rework the ratios and then you'd be done.

Paying is a good idea.
It's dumb to let someone switch their village every day.

Or if you're not a fan of paying it could be made that you can only change your village every month or so.

I think you should have to pay either IRL money, or in game money. In game it should be a decent amount of money, and IRL it shouldn't be that much. There should also be a limit of say, one village change every 3 months. There needs to be an incentive for a player to desperately want to change villages. The village would also gain money, or the game would gain money. There's never a problem with that. Villages with larger amounts of people should have higher prices to join them, so then there are less people joining them, and greater balance. Therefore, villages with less people should have cheaper joining costs, to allow them to grow more easily, and make the game a bit more balanced and enjoyable

How about we let the Kage of the village decide whether they let people migrate into their village or not, they are the head of the village after all. Have you ever considered spy's and etc? What are villages supposed to do against them if anyone can migrate.

EDIT:
Maybe they could have a bunch of different options.
1. Don't let anyone migrate to their village
2. Only let people from allied villages migrate to your village
3. Let everyone migrate to your village
4. Let people with *chakra nature* migrate to your village (In case their short on specific chakra natures)

Cause who would want to go through 100s of shinobi?

Village leaders should be able to decide and control most/all things about their village.
