Talking about summoning got me to think about naruto's shadow clone jutsu. I think this justu should be like a spell/justu, does with a combination of hand seals, key combinations, macros or commands u get th point, which you gain as a shinobi when your chakra reaches a certain amount, after doing quests or anything to increase chakra. That it should be a justu anyone can acquire and have sub talents which you can add after how many hits can one clone take before it puffs-out. I figured each clone, each one to take two hits before is puff-out, depending on the talent-spec on the Justu/spell.  But as for a player fighting a clone, one hit at the clone should be enough to send off. But then of cause, the clone will not be as strong as the player, nor would it form any justu since it won’t have its own chakra and can’t be commanded in that manor,(hope it does in the future though). But like it the Naruto series. one kick puff-out the clones. What you guys think?

I think we should be abble to summon ,like there will be realms like the mountain jirayia trained on for more animals and if you go there and do quests from them(assuming they talk) you gain reputation,after you sign the contract the more reputation the stronger animals you can summon but there will be only one hand seals and you have to chose before battle what animal is bound to your summoning,if you didnt understand me ask.

I can eventually seeing Summoning joining the game in a later part, during maybe a further out 'patch'. Summoning something of medium size, like a wolf or tiger, something like that, should be part of normal jutsus, and maybe even used for mounts if they ever come into the game. Kill two birds with one stone. They'll cost a minimal amount of Chakra, and to keep it so people can't keep them up at all times, you can make it to where the cost of chakra needed to summon it is taken/used every <set interval of time, like 15 minutes>.

HOWEVER, large scale, big monster summonings. I don't feel they should be ALLOWED in the game because they aren't REALISTIC. If they are put into the game, they NEED to be rare. Not as rare as Kekkei Genkai, but only slightly less-rare.

One way for them to be cool would be to learn like a jutsu, a few handseals and then summon a animal,that can be big as gamabunta or small like his sons but you can ride them,they do not fight you can ride them.It would be awesome to see some high level ninja riding a giant snake or something :)

Yes, something simple for now, it would be a nice idea.

Or just some small pets that follow you around for now, like you summon a turtle (?) or something.

Personally i love the fact this is trying to be realistic, but here's the deal. You expect us to suspend our disbelief for humans that can have super strength, breathe fire, control some elements all using chakra, yet an animal appearing or disappering in a cloud of smoke is going too far? I love that this is trying it's best to be real as possible, but before anything else you are Shinobi Life Online, summons are a big part of it, as are the giant summons. It would be like doing a DBZsimu but not including magic because it is unrealistic. If the first part of post is ignored, my middle ground is perhaps have summons do simple defense for their owner, perhaps not attacking though. And the different animals should have advantadges and disadvantages, not just simply look different. They should be different.

i think the real problem resides with one sentence: cluster fuck in high population density areas. Imagine like 100 people all with massive summons in an area. It would be shit. As much as i would love to have summons, i dont know if it would work in a game going for this type of realism and scope. BTW i agree with the guy above ^^ in a universe this strange, nobody is going to question summoning animals

maybe you could reduce the size of the summonings....  as TheVegetor said, it's part of Naruto Universe :3

^^^  He's right, summonings should increase the Max Health or as he said increase the owner's defense, the same with speed. (if they were to be included of course).
Also different summonings need to have different advantages and disadvantages, just like TheVegetor said.
