Summoning

I have seen this suggestion in another forum for some other game that was being made that was suppose to be like Naruto but it died off so I thought I would bring it here cause it sounded pretty cool but for summoning things would you use them as pets for combat or like mounts I would like to see it as both. I am not if its even going to be in the game but I think that everyone would enjoy this

I'd love to see summoning in Shinobi Life Online some day.

i'd want summon to be cast as a jutsu not used as pet but either way it'll be cool...its just that if it will be as a pet then it will be like any pet system in any other mmorpg and wont be special naruto summoning jutsu...

That'd be the best thing to do.. that way you dont just see a town full of summons. Just do the technique, they attack or do their technique for an amount of time, then poof into a smoke cloud

well you could do like a pet but I would say that you would need to then put summoning as a one of you natures then I think it would make them very small in number but I know summoning isnt a element but a pack you make with the thing your summoning but I just like the thought

Well I want to summon snakes and using a snake as a mount would look very weird.

I know not all animals would be able to be used as mounts like if you have 2 different hand signs one for a attacking pet and one for a mount that would last longer than the pet and I would ride a big ass snake it would be like surfing lol

i hope the summonings will be big and designed kinda like in naruto artisticly...

I would like to see a summoner/sage class that could summon lots of different summonings and could ride them

I really like this idea maybe once you summon your summon after it takes a certain amount of damage (depends on what pet or what skill level you have) or if it's idle for awhile it while poof away

There are no plans made for it and I doubt that will change in the future, but who knows what'll happen. With Shinobi Life Online I'm going for a realistic approach, you might even think of it as a realistic version of the Naruto universe where stuff like transformation jutsu, jumping out of the ground and summoning talking animals is not possible.

It could be that u purchase an animal, a pet, like akamaru; he doesnt speak but he understands people fully. just like when real people tell their dawgs to sit, but on a way higher level. maybe make fox pets, snake pets, frog pets and even snail pets. there could be anything right???

I dont see why cosmetic summons that dont do anything but follow you or interact (sit, play etc) would be an issue. Maybe they could assist by picking up nearby items for you or something.. that might be an okay idea since people really wants summons. What do you think Vreg? Its still cosmetic its something people would pay for, and doesnt give any advantage.
