Mission Requests

I saw this idea on this post: http://www.shinobilifeonline.com/index.php/topic,1308.0/topicseen.html and I thought it really needed its own suggestion post and I wanted to speak about how I think it should work if it's implemented.

I love the idea of mission requests. Say you wanted a certain sword. This sword was only attainable by killing a level 100 boss, the sword is level 30 and so are you, but you have no chance against the boss. However, you do have a lot of money. There's only one problem, you can't find the sword in any stores, but there's a solution. You could go to wherever the mission station is and enter how much you would pay for someone to retrieve sword for you. You could deposit the money at the station and if someone accepts it and completes it, they get the money you offered, and whenever you come back to the station you can retrieve the sword that you wanted. This would give rogue ninja (under disguise) a way of making money, along with normal villagers too. It could be used to find many items that you don't want to spend your time finding or have the inability to find. Obviously if there's a market type place then you could buy it there, but some items aren't always available. This would benefit both the buyer and the adventurer in great amounts.

Mars is right, that's what I was implying. I was just using that as an example to get my point across

Oohhh klkl, good idea, but I think it shouldn't be an official thing. As in, the guy kills the boss for you, and just give you the sword. You could just give him the money via trade. Just imo

If you just do it via trade there's no easy way of finding someone to find it for you, imo an official set up is what makes it work, otherwise it's just the same as in any mmorpg

I agree, there should be somewhere you can go to put up missions. Maybe a tavern or something? I don't know, but I really like the mission request idea

If there wasn't an actual system for it, you could just tell someone to do it for you then not pay them.

Scams happen in real life, why not in SLO?

I have no problem with it happening to individual players themselves, but for organizations, such as Kroven Sociere, will be taking up missions and making profits off of it by doing those requested missions. There will still need to be a system.
