Execution is actually a really good idea. True, it would have to be completely up to the heads of the villages. What would happen, though, if the heads of the village were really bloodthirsty? A lot of people who might not need to die, would.

...why do I have the feeling that Takami is an innocent?... I withdraw my vote! I'm not gonna be part of this mindless running around trying to find the assassin. I agree with Abemelbs. @Jale is my final vote. Sorry, Takami. For what it's worth, I'm not the assassin. I was shooting in the dark trying to find him. If you turn out to be the assassin I'm gonna be helluva disappointed in myself though.

Well now we know not to trust you, hermit.... Considering you and I were trying to figure out who the assassin was. To clear this matter up: I'm not the assassin. Can I provide proof? No, I can't. Honestly though, I thought I would have been killed by them by now. My vote goes to @Takumi   if you all want to vote for me, go ahead. You'll lose another shinobi and the assassin will be another step closer to winning. My death will prove my innocence.
