Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Re: Currency
« on: June 20, 2016, 22:34:02 »
It really shouldn't be hard. All of the above suggestions are for this version of the game. They're all for this INCOMPLETE shinobi world. Because this world has no villages or safe-zones whatsoever. Meaning that the only way to be completely safe in this incomplete world is by logging out, which I have to agree can get a little annoying after a while.

Remember, this incomplete world is bound to stay incomplete for a little while, so this suggestion is to make it easier for people who want to AFK for the time being. At full release, I'd definitely want the afk feature off the table.

i disagree with this as in all fairness as it wouldn't be fitting having your clan name appear as a tag but rather it be best if it appeared next to your name and if the player chooses not to end up in a clan then the space will remain empty til' they join a clan , besides there may be a player out there who'll be a dumbAss and call himself 'Madara Uzumaki' then discovers he can choose a clan and he'll feel stupid and be forced to restart or go on with that dumb name whilst on the other hand he could just 'Please insert name' 'please choose clan'

You misunderstood..the player's last name will be there no matter if he is in the clan or not. So better have it under than have it next to each other and make the last name repeated.

We'll take two players for instance. Both of them have the same first name, the first one joins the Kirishima clan, the other one does not join a clan, however he decides to manually insert his last name as Kirishima.
Now both of them will have the same name, "Whatever Kirishima"

But, under the first player's name there will be a clan tag, something that validates that he is truly in the clan. And under the second player the tag would be N/A or whatever. It's better to have it under the name, because if it was right next to his name it would look weird.. like

"Whatever Kirishima <Kirisihima>"

We can have the <> part under the name, or even as the last name.
Like "Whatever <Kirishima>" without anything under it. Basically the <> part is what validates that the player really is from the clan.

And will the character choose their last name? Or could anyone add "Kirishima" to their last name without belonging to the clan.

There could simply be a tag under a player's name that indicates if he is any clan or organization. So that if someone manually enters his last name as Kirishima without going through the proper way of being accepted in the clan, their clan tag would be empty.

This would be OK to have with in another game, though this is supposed to be the life of a Shinobi, people shouldn't go afk when they're in the forest for example, it's just stupid, you're literally saying, come take my stuff.

Implementing this I think would ruin the whole dangerous world ninja feels, y'know what I mean?

Yeah, in the full release there shouldn't be that sort of command. However my suggestion was for the current version of the game. It would just make things easier for now rather than logging off and on like limits said, just to prevent yourself from getting afk-killed.

How about a /afk command that people can use in PvP zones? Of course though, there would have to be restrictions to this, since it can get abused :

1. In the /afk status you can not move or use skills. All you can do is chat.

2. You can only use the /afk command if you haven't been in combat for the past ten seconds or so.

3. You only have a specified amount of time to be afk, like two minutes maybe. If it was more than that then it wouldn't be a Pvp zone anymore. If you're planning to be afk for longer then might as well just log out.

No.
If I decide to quit for a year and leave my character, I don't want to return to find I'm at Genin level when I left it at Jonin

It is only realistic.

Besides, if you stop playing the game, you yourself will get worse at it little by little. The whole point of having a leveling system that doesn't specifically show the number of your levels is for your character alone to be an accurate demonstration of your in-game skill itself. With that being said, as you the player stop playing and become worse, your in-game character should also become worse.

Shinobi Life Online Questions / Re: Religions
« on: August 08, 2015, 21:35:10 »
@Mars It won't be something OP or something rare, therefore anybody should have this path open, just like in real life, you can become a real believer, a monk etc. How I said it would simply be another skill tree with another set of jutsus. Nothing similar to Hidan's ability.

Also, this is a question in the question section (for those that haven't noticed yet), not a suggestion so I am waiting for the answer of a red-named or @Vreg

I believe each religion should give one buff, and one (not very strong) ability. That way, players can choose which religion and abilities suit them best. Religions could also be the cause of wars and conflicts, as people of the same religion would tend to band together. It'd give SLO another interesting dimension.

Believe I read somewhere before that target lock will be implemented.

1. Whether the rogue is wanted dead or alive - you should not get rewarded the moment you kill him. You should go back with his corpse to whoever placed the bounty. Just like it is hard being a rogue, it must be hard being a rogue hunter.

2. If that crime was committed in public, then possibly. However there are tons of crimes - in fact, most of them, are made without the knowledge of others. This suggestion kills the idea of being sneaky while committing crimes.

4. A well-known rogue ninja who has a high bounty placed on his life will have almost everyone's attention. If a rough idea was given about his whereabouts, almost all the rogue hunters will head there once they see he's online. No one would want to go rogue in the first place if that was the case.

Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Re: kekkei genkai
« on: July 25, 2015, 08:43:58 »
I made a thread about this. I thought the best clans before the MMO would get a Kekkei Genkai but people decided a vanity item would be more fitting.

<- guilty.

Sorry Mars ^^

You've just basically repeated what i said

I don't know I thought you said stamina = chakra. But alright.

29
So stamina for running, jumping etc. But it can also be enhanced with chakra to run faster, jump higher? (also i thought chakra = stamina)

Honestly have to agree with Mars on this one. Well I'd say chakra and stamina are two different things. Stamina is what you need to do things that require physical power. Chakra is what you need to do stuff beyond physical power : Aka Jutsu. Basically anything humans can do should take Stamina (ex : running, jumping, dodging) and supernatural things should take chakra (Jutsu and double jumping).

30
With all honesty the current chakra numbers would be fine if jumping, dodging and running didn't take chakra but Stamina instead. It kind of makes more sense. I think the main reason people complain about the chakra numbers being too low is that everything you do consumes chakra. So have you guys ever considered adding a stamina bar or so?
