Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Customization

For the longest times video games only let you customize to the extent of maybe what class u played, what weapon you used etc. Recently though with games like destiny you can literally customize every piece of armor/weapon to upgrade its stats and chose perks for the equipment.

Now since the game is skill based i doubt armor and weps will have stat increases /perks in most cases BUT Do you guys think its possible to allow players to customize armor and weapons in terms of looks? for example perhaps choosing the hilt of the sword you get or choosing if you want to wrap the handles of your kunai like some characters in the naruto universe do.  this would also let a bunch of ppl for example who are jonin rank & receive the jonin vest(if thats even in the game) to diversify they way they look by opening thir vest/ rolling up their sleeves etc.

Just wondering if this is even a possibility & what you guys think of it.  Let me know

Shinobi Life Online Questions / Name of game?

I've noticed the forum url has changed which makes me wonder if the game will now be called Shinobi life online.  If that's the case, while i was googling to see footage of the community test i came across a few other things with a similar name. 
One looks like a really shitty gameboy graphic rpg game being made by what seems like a bunch of young teenager friends called Shinobi Life, i can't find the site anymore but i assume that they wont make it far and copyright issues wouldn't exist with them anyway.
But then i came across this http://www.mangahere.co/manga/shinobi_life/.  Apparently Shinobi Life is a manga from a few years ago about a ninja who protects a princess who one day fails to protect her & ends up in the bottom of a lake where he is teleported to the future. Further looking into it shows that the author, Shoko Konami, has roughly 4-5 mangas that are somewhat popular, with Shinobi life as his most popular. Im not a reader of manga so im not to sure how many readers is a lot for non-mainstream mangas but i believe it has roughly 20k views on just one site.

Idk if this could be a problem but if the game has gone through a name change & the names are similar, could there not be copyright issues?  i dont want to see this game go down so id thought id bring this to the attention of any mods/team for them to decide if its any threat.

This whole post is only relevant however if the game's name has changed, does anyone know if the name has changed?

Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Length of term for kage's

It's said once voted upon the kage will hold his/her position for a month.

I for one think this is too long of a time for one player to be kage.  Now i dont know what responsibilities they will have so maybe a month wont be too much work but perhaps it should be on a weekly basis or bi-weekly.  This would allow a preferred kage to not run for the position if he/she knows that they will not be able to be very active that week or for an event etc.

What do you guys think? Kage's for the whole month or do you want the kage's to change more frequently ( i doubt theres gonna be a stone face of every kage so no need to worry about village appearances :P)

Shinobi Life Online Questions / Length of fights?

In naruto some fights last multiple episodes where you can clearly tell at least an hr or 2 has gone by in showtime.  Obviously if we are more skilled we should be able to easily defeat our opponents within 5 mins but if we come across someone as good as us is it possible for the fight to last say around 20 mins? or would both players be out of chakra/ hp(unless they are a skilled evader)

So when you're defeated in this game it has been decided the victor will have the choice to allow you to live or if he/she wants, finish you off.
But we still haven't decided on how we will get that option, a pop-up could be troublesome in certain situations etc.

Perhaps every player can have 2 skills that only become usable when near a downed player.  One being mercy the other execution or something along the lines.

Players could simply just activate the skill using whatever command chosen near the downed player with the only change in the UI being a kill becoming available (such as other mmo's such as WoW where when a skill gets off its cooldown it blinks for a second to indicate its ready for use).

By doing this it allows players to not have a huge distraction on the battlefield and when the battle is over instead of having to reopen a pop up window you simply press a button.

Shinobi Life Online Questions / Regarding Kage's

So Kage's will be players that have achieved high skill in the game & they will be able to have special commands such as ordering around the anbu but...
If a kage is required to take action for some unexpected event such as the police force being helpless in a situation where a village is attacked etc. but he/she isn't online what's going to happen?

Shinobi Life Online Suggestions / Pro Perma-Death Suggestions

Hey guys, used to follow other naruto mmos but most have died off and i finally came across this one & have to say i have more hopes for this than i have had for any other naruto mmo in development.
Perma-death is the way to go, we don't want someone who has achieved madara lvl and ambitions to be constantly reviving and causing chaos.

Now i know Vreg has been saying he wants this game to be as realistic as possible so perhaps a bleed-out system could be implemented into the death programming.

Idea 1: Bleed-out
For those who don't follow, bleed-out systems are like being in final stand in CoD or being downed in GoW etc.  pretty much your HP has reached 0, but instead of instantly dying or if i am correct the current idea is letting the victor hold the losers life in there hands, you are on the ground, immobile, waiting for someone to come save you.  This seems realistic to me since you rarely see a character die instantly, they always have some final words.

HOWEVER before bleed-out occurs i do believe the victor should have the choice.

Now if the character bleeding out is in midst battle with his/her squad and enemies are around, the squad may try to save their fallen comrade but would have to fend off the attackers also.

I have not tested this game(a question ill post at the end of this thread) so idk how fast gamepace/fighting goes but perhaps a 30sec - 1 min bleed-out period since it is perma-death seems reasonable to me.  It would give enough time to cast a distraction or perhaps beat the enemy. 

Idea 2: High lvl Player killers

This may not be favored by people but realistically if we follow Naruto those who are strong and fight the weak do not seem to finish them off.  It hurts their pride to take the life of someone who couldn't put up a fight.

I personally would prefer if someone who surpasses you greatly would only have the option to let you live, no way a genin is beating a jounin if this games realistic.

Yet i would also like to suggest if that option isn't liked, perhaps a penalization system for those who pick on the weak and perhaps a compensation towards the victim.

Idea 3: To kill or not to kill

This is somewhat a question but would it not benefit every payer to perma- kill their opponents?  this is a video-game after all, i do not have a problem being a cold-hearted shinobi for my benefit especially since i know tmmrw i could be remaking my character. Would there be an incentive not to kill?

Anyway 2nd part to this.  Giving the victor the option to end the losers life would be a pop up such as being resurrected in other mmos i assume.  This would be problematic for any situation that isn't a 1v1 duel, the reason is obvious.

MY QUESTION ABOUT TESTING

is there a reason i cant access the web browser game?  i press test ( once again just joined & have not donated yet, would like to get more familiar first) and was wondering if that was why i couldn't access it?  I assumed there were 2 separate tabs & the free one would be an older less updated version but i'm still sort of upset i cant get it to work.  Anyone have this problem?  i use google chrome
