Shinobi Life Online Discussion / Nice project Vreg!
« on: December 30, 2013, 16:25:02 »
Hey there! I'm new here (just posted a introduction topic). Well, I just wanted to say that I loved the Kakashi video that you posted, it's an impressive 3D model character, I liked quite a lot the physics (like the hair moving and the character running/sprinting), they were very well done! Also the collision when you touch the ANBU member with the jutsu, man, very funny, I liked it!

I'll be honest, all the Naruto based MMORPG's I've seen until now, didn't complete. They've all stopped being made. I really hope that doesn't happen in here with you (and I have hope because you said you made it a project for your University, or something like that). Another thing...I liked your name dude, Vreg! Is that your real name or just a nickname? Howsoever, it's nice!

I don't know if you've seen my introduction topic or not, but I'm a programmer (or studying to be one as I'm still going to the third period of 8, even if I study thing on my own in my free time). What I wanted to say is that, even that I'm interested, I'm not going to apply to your project as there are a lot of things that I want to learn before making a real project (until now I've only made a freaking memory game with HTML/CSS/Javascript/jQuery, some really simply games, more like exercises, in C# with XNA framework and some interesting stuff in Unity as I'm learning to use it). But I really hope the best for this project and I hope it really finishes. And if that happen, I'll definitely want to test it, as I always wanted to play a Naruto 3D MMORPG.

2 questions. First: I'm not very interested in playing a Naruto 3D MMORPG in which I need to play with the anime characters, like a Naruto/Sasuke/Kakashi/Sakura 3d models. I wish it was able to change the appearence of my character, making one of my own. How is it going to be in Shinobi Life Online? I make my own or you're going to give everybody some 3d pre-made models?

Second: which game engine are you using and which programming language?

See you around mate!
