It would be cool if you and your friends can plan a coup d" etat in your village to take down the Kage. The Kage should have two bodyguards with him at all times to insure this won't happen so easily.

The kage can have as many bodyguards as it wants, as it is a real player. If you want to kill the Kage, I wouldn't recommend telling it to get bodyguards. Just makes your job harder.
-
You can do that, but think about that, even if he don't have any bodyguards is still gonna be a problem, to reach the kage title you have to be a great shinobi, in my opinion.

The point of someone being kage is that they're supposed to be the strongest or one of the strongest in the village.
-
Aye, but it's not going to be that much of a gap between Kage and Jonin. The Kage as a player can only be so good.
-
To me that's what going to make this game very interesting. Knowing that a kage is going to be tough to kill and having the options to do it is awesome.
I do think a Kage should be very strong and there should be a gap between Kage and jounin. We will still have strong ninjas that are probably stronger than a kage, but doesn't care for the kage name.

maby as a kage you can get access too a "special kage ability" for that village. just one strong ability that makes you a bit tuffer then the rest....and it needs to be really cool looking ;P

I feel like reaching kage level your gunna have to grind a shit ton for your skills....

You are going to have to grind a lot to get to Jonin, and I don't think that Jonin will be much different from Kage.

In a game like this, where player skill is one of the major pillars of the total capabilities of someone in the game world, elected leaders will most likely have a combination of a character that is very well trained and their own superior skills in the game.
Anyone will be capable of becoming Jonin-level at some point, but they will be limited by their actual level of skill in the game.
It's like chess, anyone can learn to play chess, but only a few can become Grand Master.
In the beginning, I imagine players won't be too different from each other, but as the world progresses and it becomes more clear who is better than others, I'm sure elected Kage won't be an easy thing to take down.
You will only be able to take them down if you're highly skilled yourself, but never cared for a position like Kage. If that is the case, then sure go ahead. If you're the average Jonin, I'd stay away. Of course you could always ambush a Kage with several people, but I'm sure any decent Kage is well-prepared for situations like that.
What's I'm trying to say is, physically you probably can become equally strong as an elected Kage, but mentally (referring to his intelligence, reflexes, thinking speed, etc.) you probably can't.

The first requirement will surely be to get a Jonin. There are two main ways to elect the Kage.
1st: There will be a voting.
2st: You create a Tournament of the best Jonins and the winner of such a competition will get the title of the Kage. It's like an qualifying exam and a very easy way to elect.
But I doubt if the position of a Kage is practicable, because there are so many liabilities a Kage should be able to do...
Will be hard to convert that idea to the game. I am curious.

To become kage you have to be good at the game in ways not just as being a high level. You have to know lots of tips and tricks, be able to make a quick decision and control your jutsu perfectly. To me becoming like that is harder than grinding.
