Title: Water Style Usage

If I am a water style user, do I have to be by a pond/river/lake/ocean to use water style? There are some water style users in Naruto that don't, but it's still a valid question.

Oh, good question, I'm curious too if I'll be able to use earth style in desert for example.

I think it is safe to assume that any chakra nature will be usable under any environmental determined circumstance in order to maintain a balance between the 5.

Good, I was worried that water would be underpowered because of something like that.

it could be tht u can use it on any environment but if ur close to ur natural element u get a power boost like u could be fighting in a forest and then u get to a river and ur water style powers increase

no, but it will cost less chakra to use a water jutsu if you're nearby a water body.
