Hi. I was on thinking how the game is basically going to be like , then a though came to mind how Health and Chakra is going to be used like. I had an idea, that Health and Chakra pools, should have an additional 'active chakra' which will slowly feed directly from your main-chakra pool. This 'active chakra' pool will determine, depending how much chakra the ninjutsu or genjutsu you form or cast, the number of jutsu u would form per-go. For an example. This pool will have a percentage of 100 percent, which will slowly recharge, but more faster when one uses taijustu. This pool will run low and lower when forming nin or gen jutsu ofcause. But then if it happens that u in an 'emergency' situation, i think then, could be a 'tap-once' button which will charge the pool fully, but will take a certain percent or amount on your Health and chakra pool to perform the jutsu .This will add an assurance when u continuously use ninjutsu or genjutsu, one would have no choise but to use taijutsu also. This will ensure that when u in a battle that you will uses all types of jutsu, not focusing on one type of jutsu all the time. I think this will be fun and diverse. So one would have be skilled in all three types of jutsu. :). And yes i have played few games the idea from, but i do think it will be fun. What u guys think about the idea?

Interesting idea and I am definitely not against it, although I think I remember reading genjutsu will be an out of combat skill.
Regardless I hope your idea comes to fruition. :)

Thank u very much Ryo. Its grate knowing someone thinks me idea is cool. I wonder what the development team thinks about this one.

Erm I was searching for chakra regeneration topics to slay Remi but found this little unanswered gem...
@Vreg
@Nova
Edit:
After extensive research (not really) I found that no question about chakra recharge had been definitively answered...

I have a feeling that it'll either be a jutsu you learn, or a slow default regeneration (as in the arena mode) -- perhaps both?
-
As far as I know I was the only other person to address chakra regeneration.
My idea was lost in a sea of math... lol so simpley put it should be tied to chakra control skills in my opinion. Somthing you can train not a automatic recovery with no explanation as to why it happens.
However full recovery of chakra should only be available after a period of rest. The amount of rest also should be tied to chakra control in some way.

I've read through them and I'm sure Vreg has had a look too
The ideas are good and would give a sort of consistency and logic to the maths, the thing I don't know about were the individual stats like 'intelligence, dexterity, etc'
I just dont know if Vreg wants those in the game

The character need some kind of basic stats!
You can't role play with out some kind of bench mark of a average characters abuilitys.
You might be able to RP intelligence if the game can intuitively grant you acsess to certain skills based on the way you use your charicter and there other abuility to salve problems and puzzles mini games. But strength dexterity constitution cant be roll played.
Your character needs some kind of strength stat
So you can start training.
Same with dexterity.
Constitution /health and damage reduction
This is also important or well you'll die.
This value is already in place in the game we have now.
Strength and dexterity only really matter to Taijutsu and Kenjutsu

oh wow, an actual really good idea

It may be a good idea and original but there is a reason no one has ever done it before. It is far too complex for somthing that plays only a small part in the game.
