Title: America's First Build
Post by: America on November 25, 2016, 20:09:31
So today I ordered the parts for my first computer build, after using various shit laptops for my entire life. Just thought I'd post the parts and get some feedback, as I have no idea myself how good they are. I had a friend help me pick them out.

Just to clarify, I've never built a PC before, nor do I have any idea how it works, so bear with me.

You need a heat sink for the i7. @America

Your gonna need this

https://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16835103059

To attach the CPU to the heat sink
And I recommend this heat sink... though you may want to check the space available in your case.

I am not sure what barring type is on your motherboard but be carful there are 2 types used for heat sinks for The i5 & i7 chip set.
