After you train you have to eat to gain the skills/stats that you trained for, similar to real life. Certain restaurants and foods would benefit certain aspects of your strengths more than others. This would create for cool social situations at shops where everybody that trained can talk and such. This would also give purpose to having a ramen cart for example. Let's say you trained throwing kunai and you have to go eat to gain the boost. So once you're finished you now can throw kunai faster.

Yes... And no.
Basically it depends on how important food is going to be.
If it's important then this could become a thing.
If it's not then perhaps a temporary xp boost so you can gain those skills faster...

I like Yummy_Noodles idea, ^^

I think that it would be better to work the other way around. If you are hungry and you don't eat something and start training while being hungry, you learn skills slower.
-
Are we talking realistic ?
Cuz if so this suggestion is how it should be. (I mean muscle wise)
Muscle will be replaced with skills ofc.
Eating gives energy, you train and eat again for growth in whatever skill. (SLO realistic)
Wouldn't make sense if you could train without having some Mars ramen in your belly man.

skills = knowlage.
Stamina = physical abuility
Food fuels stamina- that lets us learn skills
However some food works better then others
Candy vs stake ramen for example.
One burns fast one lasts longer.
This is how food should work In slo
However experience is gained through sleep
Where we integrate are knowledge to the knowledge we already posesses.
Again how slo should work.

Yeah this is what I mean! We'll just have to see if they address food on the new FAQ.

I mean, that is a good, realistic system but I'm not sure if it would benefit the game enough for it to be implemented. Realism is great, when appropriate. It seems like an unnecessary complication to a system that can be done easier.

Or we can keep it easy, and let food just replenish health or so.

I do believe Kono's idea was the best for game-play purposes. It would encourage people into eating but not give a buff to people who eat regularly. It also allows food to become a tactical factor whilst not being overbearing.
It goes without saying that different meals would keep shinobi full for different lengths of time.

Anything that helps immerse the player in the game is always nessessary for a mmorpg.
The game has a fast passed battle system. The skills and training need to be regulated by sleeping and eating to balance out the game play... For realizem
Othre wise it would feel to go go go.
The game is Shinobi LIFE online
Not Shinobi battle online.
