So I've had a couple friends get interested in SLO. Heres how the process would go... I hit them up through text, and then I give them the link to SLO's website. They're wowed out, and then when they shrug off the fact that the game isnt complete yet, they get hype and begin to download it only to find out that they can't because SLO doesnt work for macs. Why is this anyways? How come theres no download for macs for SLO? Is it a harder process to make a download for macs? If it is then that sucks I guess... But i was just wondering that. And also is there a download for macs? If so someone please pm me the link or post it below.
RIP TO ALL MY MAC FRIEND USERS WHO WERE GONNA PLAY SLO BUT NOW THEY CAN'T:
Andy
Milton
Darryl
James
Larry
Bill

how is this a problem? now you can charge them per hour to play SLO on your computer
Jokes aside, as far as I know you have to code it differently for macs, which would take @Vreg more time than he has. He could probably explain it better
They could also run something called bootcamp, which allows you to run windows on a mac. there are other parallels that allow you to do the same thing, but i don't know much about it

Or he could stop being friends with mac users, that usually tends to help out in these types of problems

Bootcamp or Parallels is your friend here, as America said. I run Bootcamp just fine to run most Windows games, and it's not that hard to setup - there are tutorials all over the internet.
I'm pretty sure there will eventually be a mac version, but while it's in early alpha (if that?) Vreg isn't going to release for all platforms, just the one 80 (ish) % of the world use.

Pretty much that, I have my reasons for not providing a Mac version of SLO at the moment.
However, by the time we reach SLO Alpha (the pre-MMO game we will use for crowdfunding), a Mac version will be guaranteed made available.
