What if your character loses a limb during a fight is your character gonna be disabled for the rest of his life or will it grow back?
-
He will most likely have to live without his arm/leg.
You also don't grow back limbs in real life.
And this MMOARPG is going for realism.

Questions like these should be asked in the Community QnA (https://www.shinobilifeonline.com/index.php?topic=2219) thread.

Just for quick ref: While the idea to lose limbs and be disabled 'Sounds' pretty cool, that sort of a system is likely going to take a LONG time to put into practice--if ever--as there are simply too many other things that need to be worked on before taking the time to sit down and implement something of such a...complexity. You'd *probably* have to--just going off of a guess here, no real experience in any department of game design--rework your skeleton system, make sure that the limb rag-dolls when it falls off, perhaps add in a separate texture on the inner section of said removed limb -- the list goes on.
In fewer words, might want to wait on this concept.

so do we file for disability with the kaga or the village elders.... Is Obama care available.
-
SLO is aiming to be real, but not too real. It's still going to be a game, and an MMO at that.

^
While I do think this might be immersive af, there should be a line and i think getting your limbs chopped off is too much immersion for players getting into the game. Plus, It'd just be a "fuck this shit" feature.
-
This could just be like a debuff....instead of actually having your limbs cut off....a notification could pop like "your left arm has been damaged". And you take more and do less damage..... that kinda thing

I know mars LOL IT WAS A JOKE!!!! Although I was wondering How much hospitales will cost?
i meen even if you are not killed because you were defeated outside a kill zone you should still need to pay something to the hospital to revive you right??

i agree but is it so far fetched to have medical ninjutsu that can regenerate limbs? now i'm not talking about in battle all at once but maybe it would take a medical ninjutsu users technique of using all the energies (both spirit and physical) essentially weakening the person with the lost limb back to genin level to regenerate it. he would still have the knowledge of jutsu but would need to train to get back to the level he was at when he lost his arm. personally i think it would be an impressive achievement for the game to have targetable limbs. mabee 5 basic targets and a vitle point target at higher levels of dexterity.

Wasn't referring to you cm, was just making a point in general.
Nas made a good shout, maybe a system like fallout's:

Would give a buff to medical jutsu users, give them techniques to cripple people's limbs so some attacks are less effective.
Though, the fallout limb system has always been a pain.
