Title: Medical jutsu/self healing/aid of team-mate healing

So recently Vreg stated he would want to put a jutsu to heal yourself, well i made my own little improvemts to his idea and what i think it should be like-let me know what you think!


Medical self healing-heals yourself but its slower-as in the naruto universe med nin when healing them self its slower
aid with other player/Player healing another player: heals other player but has more of a faster rate of healing than the "Medical self healing"

This would encourage teamwork,players during team battle would have to have a standby medical team or swap out other players so they could get healed

im making a post after this one for an extension of this current topic

well since the WP was here in the last few days, I do not expect there will be any jutsu at anytime soon,we can start think about this in the next Month. XD
anyway healing jutsus will be nice to see.

Actually Vreg said this would be easy to implement.
So i don't expect it to take a month.
However with the changes GP suggested it could become tricky.

Its not a bad idea, tho if you make it heal too little on oneself it would be bad. Medical ninjutsu are stated take a lot of chakra in naruto universe.

   I suggest healing to be @ 1 hp for 2 chakra on someone else, and 1 hp for 3 chakra on yourself.
 The jutsu will stop healing when you are out of range or press F. It should be easy to make it detect who you are and change the amount, tho the question is how, because no other jutsu have been able to target yourself. Will we need two different jutsu for touching others and for oneself?

Dont worry Sanji, once we get enough momentum there will be updates more often. There is a lot going on behind the scenes.

If you well remember, 1st lvl medical ninjutsu its about one shinobi healing another

lol healing others first would be better for teamwork, you cannot be a one shinobi team that way

I think when shinobi rest they heal(also in combat).. I think that a recover HP thing should be add latter as a game skill(more evolved more regen), but medical ninjutsu applied at yourself would be a thing for advanced jutsus no?

Like if you decide to skill in medical ninjutsu you will play more Healing like.. More like an assist character that is hard to kill cuz of healing jutsus. (just like healers in other MMO's)

If you're more agility/critical (lets say kakashi style) you would have bad Healing and hp regeneration skills, just like kakashi(always spending weeks in the hospital)

  I do not like the idea of automatic hp regen, unless you gain some back every hour or so. If someone with low hp encloses theirself with an earth dome to regen, their opponent will be full hp by then. It will drag out fights imo. People will base their style off of running when they need regen, similar to the way chakra works now. Defeating your opponent will increase in difficulty if they just run off when you are close to killing them. Fights could never end unless they stick around long enough to die, which no one will do on purpose.

  A timer on hp regen such as every 20 min you gain 10% is better. No constant hp regen please! I pvp in ESO, where you do have constant hp regen, and it does take away from the pvp when you get defeated because the opponent regenerated just enough hp to take your attack before you did. In a game like this where landing hits is difficult, constant hp regen is a bad idea.

   I do not know if you plan to be a medic ninja dati, but this kind of mechanic would make it a game of whose regen is faster, rather than skill in avoiding or landing attacks.

  If someone chooses to specialize in medical ninjutsu ( tho you can learn any technique you have the seals and resources for atm ) They will be able to heal hp rapidly...I envision ppl using this with spammed aoes to kill opponents while keeping hp intact. If there is constant hp regen, who needs a medic ninja at all? You can run until you regenerate.

If health regen in implemented it should be based on how much damage you took. so let's say there is a bass regen rate of
100 an hour or so that means that  if it was just that with 1000 hp it would take 10 hours this is ridiculously fast if you have 1 hp after a fight. meaning you're so messed up that your are almost dead.

if you're this messed up it should take a weeks if not months to heal UNASSISTED

but if you have 950 hp after a fight (barely a scratch then 100 an hour is about right to be back to full strength)

to accomplish this effect every 10% of damage should increase the regen time by an hour.

1 hp left     99% damage                 100 hp per 9 hours
500 hp left     50% damage             100 hp per 5 hours
900 hp left      10% damage            100 hp per 2 hours

this would make healers a necessary addition to a squad

also I think if you have that low health and you dont have an item like bandages or medical kits you should loose 1 hp per .5 hours as a bleed effect after you get past 50% health if a self heal ninjutsu is added this is the effect that it should stop.
only medical specialists should be able to recover HP for others and themselfs
