But i also must say that i dont really like them,even just as ideas.
The log should really be replaced by a big tree or multiple trees.
A whole tree is easier to be associated with a,,hidden forest''than a log
For inferunogakure it could be a very big,and wildly moving flame,or 3 flames next to each other(1 big flame in the middle and 2 smaller flames left and right of it).

Im not very good at drawing,so i can just share my thoughts,but no pictures.

In no way does the symbol of Konoha represent a leaf or fire (hidden leaf and the land of fire)

Top right is the stem, bottom left is the tip of the leaf, the swirl is the fill of the actual leaf. It's curve is as if it is falling, twisting in the wind. Further explained how it is a leaf in Himitsu group chat on Skype xD

Ikr, they all represent something which connects to the village word but I am finding out more and more people didn't realize :P
I guess it isn't as obvious as I first thought :)
