Hey everyone, I've posted a few times on the forum before this but I thought I should introduce myself and not wait two years like @limits
Name: Josh
Age: 19 (My birthday is in two months and one day, huzzah)
DOB: December 23
Country: USA, USA, USA!
Ethnicity: Imagine for a second, if you will, a white blank space. That's it. What did you expect?
Social Security: Oh wait, mum said NOT to put this on the internet. Skip this
Interests & Hobbies: Anime, manga, watching college football & basketball, firearms (typical American, right?), eating bacon & ramen, drinking alcohol, and being the life of the party
Sports: I played football and basketball at a young age. Other than that, I've dabbled in baseball and soccer. I am currently involved in kendo.
Languages: I'm fluent in English and Japanese (I learned Japanese because I'm planning to live abroad for a little while, not because of anime lols). I can speak a very small amount of French and I can hold some conversations in Spanish.
Favorite Anime: Guilty Crown & Naruto (I've grown up with the anime and manga for Naruto)

because of anime lols
My sole reason for learning Japanese.

A lot of people hate on it. I don't see the big deal personally, but I felt the need to clarify why I had learned it lol

Probably for the best. The internet is the worst place to like anime, I find.

Welcome, and if you really are fluent in Japanese you should apply for the translator position

Thanks! I thought about it. I don't think I have the time to do it unfortunately. I work nearly 11 hours a day most of the week.

personally, I haven't learnt japanese (yet) but it's in my to-do list, right there with Spanish :P, but yeah, I want to learn it cause of "anime lols" xD and I've found that there is no way to make EVERYONE happy, so I just be myself :) hope that helps xD.

Everyone has their own reasons for doing what they do. I try to avoid the interwebs drama as much as I can. But Japanese is really fun! It caught my interest at an early age and I finally started learning the language over a year ago. It is definitely a language I would recommend. I really want to learn Russian or German! Japanese is my main point of focus right now though :P

ofc, too much drama is unhealthy for everyone, but I just like to break idiots out of their delusions ;3, and indeed Japanese does seem fun, and I am learning German rn! quite a nice language :P way better than my native language >.<.

I would be afraid to speak German around a native speaker D:

Yo, also germans always sound angry imo, might be because of their language lel

They do sound pretty angry. But I had a German Exchange Student in my high school a few years ago and she actually sounded really sweet. It wasn't the typical "pent up rage" kind of German lol

Thanks Remi! :)
My best friend's sister lives in Germany with he boyfriend and has been learning German for a few years now and said it is one of the best languages to learn (Her opinion). Her boyfriend compliments her on how well she speaks the language. I really want to take lessons from her/her boyfriend lol
My uncle's ex wife was from Russia and I thought her accent whilst speaking English and the way she spoke Russian was beautiful. She's the reason I want to learn it.
