Title: unity wont auto update

can anyone help me? unity web player wont load. something like it needs a newer version and it didnt auto update so i need to do it manually but i tried and failed multiple times...

i even read another post where someone elses unity wasnt updating and vreg told him to uninstall unity player then download it from a specific site, i done that but still playing up..

Yeah that auto update issue happens to some systems and the only way to fix it as far as I know is to completely uninstall Unity Web Player from your computer, do a quick restart and then install this http://webplayer.unity3d.com/download_webplayer-3.x/UnityWebPlayerFull.exe (http://webplayer.unity3d.com/download_webplayer-3.x/UnityWebPlayerFull.exe)

The normal Unity Web Player download does not actually include the full player, once installed it has to download or "update" the rest of the player at the first run which sometimes goes wrong. However, if you install the full version that "updating" procedure should not take place and therefore you would evade that possible issue.
