I think a sequence of signs should be interrupted when a sign hasnt been woven for, say, 3 seconds or something.
This prevents people from "insta-casting" jutsu when engaged.

Thoughts?

Good suggestion however I dont really mind the insta casting.

Since in the game there will be different level jutsu, the higher level ones should be the only jutsu affected by this.

As you use chakra and concentrate it while making a sign I think would make sense to consume chakra while keeping a hand seal continuously.

Yes just like the current fireball technique, from holding the position your chakra is consumed.
