I think we should be able to modify how the clones fight.
Like we should be able to set if they can use ninjutsu , taijutsu and genjutsu.
If we set them to use only taijutsu they only fight with hand to hand combat.
If we set them to use only ninjutsu they only use ninjutsu and so on.
If we set them to use taijutsu , ninjutsu and genjutsu then they use all.
But we could also set them to use one or more taijutsu , ninjutsu or genjutsu skill.
I think we should also be able to set a certain amount of chakra which they can deplete and no more than that.
E.G. I set my clones to use Ninjutsu and the skill fireball jutsu , Taijutsu but not a specific skill , and no Genjutsu.
Then when I do the shadow clone jutsu , my clones use taijutsu nad FB jutsu until the amount of chakra is depleted.

nice idea, it should work a little like it works in Mabinogi, you can set your Pet's AI, so he can be Aggressive, or coward, etc.
you click on your clone, a menu pops up, a small one, so that no one can sneak up on you from the front, even though any smart person will do it inside a safe zone XD, you can set the settings you mentioned, all in all, late game XD

I was thinking on keeping the settings saved for everytime you do the shadow clone jutsu

it happens that way, yes, you summon your already owned pet, and he keeps the AI you gave him, so yeah

Hm, how about they just use what you've put the most time into so if i put most of my time into tai, they will do tai only or if they are all roughly the same then they can do all 3. Don't get me wrong i like your idea but, i think that if i spent most of my time on nin and tai and non on gen, but then my shadow clone is able to use gen it would make me sort of proficient in all 3 in other words.

Your clone is able to use gen as much as you can.
If you can do absolutely nothing in gen then your clone won't do anything either.

Could it be something where you implement the shadow clone then select a skills (whether it's leaf hurricane, fireball jutsu, or genjutsu, etc.) the clone uses that skill one time and once the skill is used it just attacks (hand to hand combat) your enemy?
